My Story

This year I’ve ran a 5KM every day and on April 10th I completed my 100th 5KM in a row!

Now I’ve reached that goal I want to use my challenge to support St David’s Hospice.

I know in the last year St David’s Hospice have suffered financially due to the pandemic.

You can donate and keep up with my progress on my page. Any donations will be gratefully received and will help support patients and their families.

Today Sunday 20th June 2021 I've completed by 171st 5km run of the year. My reward at the end of my run today was getting the Oxford / astra zenica 2nd jab.

I've completed 855km , over 533miles, or the equivalent of running 20 marathons this year so far.

As I am working full time in ysgol y creuddyn as a school technology technician and midday supervisor I find it a real challenge to do my runs but as I'm nearly half way there I'm more determined than ever to complete my 5km runs. My biggest challenge was running at 445am in the morning on Thursday 6th May as I had to work from 630am to 1030pm at a local polling station. It was a nice run on that day.
